Screenprinted stoneware jar
2026
Part of the series, "Still Listening: Ceramic Relics of Climate Change".
With support from the New Brunswick Arts Board, I engaged in months of experiments in screenprinting ceramic materials to crisply document today's communication towers for future generations.
As part of their Ponts Vivants residency at the Centre des Arts et de la Culture in Dieppe, Alison created a jar with a geli plate prints across each surface. This iconic image of The Talking Tower was printed from a photo taken in March 2026, and should last for thousands of years.
