Screenprinted stoneware tumblers
2026
Part of the series, "Still Listening: Ceramic Relics of Climate Change".
With support from the New Brunswick Arts Board, I engaged in months of experiments in screenprinting ceramic materials to crisply document today's communication towers for future generations.
As part of their Ponts Vivants residency at the Centre des Arts et de la Culture in Dieppe, Alison brought in landscape to these images of towers. Each tumbler was marked with paper transfers and geli plate prints. These iconic images of towers in Quispamsis Ave Moncton were screenprinted from photos taken in March 2026, and should last for thousands of years.
